Linseed oil is made from selected linseed by mechanical pressing and is very valuable with a content of approx. 52g/100ml omega-3 fatty acids and 14g/100ml omega-6 fatty acids. Due to its seedy, nutty taste and bitter note this oil is ideal for quark mixtures and goes very well with fresh potatoes and other dishes. Slight turbidity and deposits are a sign of the natural character and do not represent an impairment in quality. Linseed oil should also be stored unopened in the refrigerator.
